Signer fields are fields that can be assigned to individual signers and filled by these signers during the signing process. The signers of a document or template are located at the top right of the document editor, each carrying a unique color. In order to place a field for a specific signer, click on the signer's name and drag your preferred field from the righthand list of fields onto your document workspace.

The following fields can be assigned to signers:

  • Signature
  • Initials
  • Date Signed
  • Text
  • Full Name
  • Company
  • Title
  • Email
  • Checkbox
  • Radio Button
  • Dropdown
  • Attachment
  • Image

No Signer fields cannot be assigned to any signer and usually serve the purpose of adding text, checkboxes or pre-defined signatures to a document. No Signer fields cannot be changed by your signers during the signing process and are displayed accordingly.

A common way of using No Signer fields is placing a Text field in order to add an additional paragraph to the document.

The following fields are capable of being No Signer fields:

  • Signature
  • Initials
  • Text
  • Checkbox
  • Dropdown
  • Attachment
  • Image
